Icebergs sailing to tropical islands

Is he a genius or an idiot? Noel, a seventeen-year-old boy suffering from leukemia, feels that he is smarter than anyone else and is unwilling to be ordinary and insignificant and succumb to the rules of most people. Iceland in winter is like a white prison, and the frozen rivers and snow hide his youthful enthusiasm, which only increases his inner loneliness. Both his dream and the girl he admired escaped from this place and broke out of the cage, but fate seemed to be against him. He went on a desperate rampage, only to be discouraged and disappointed. In the end, everything was out of control, and only by paying a heavy price could he get the freedom he longed for. This is director Cary's first feature film. It has a delicate and sympathetic description of the chaotic growth of teenagers, and the sad and optimistic ending is even more intriguing.
