The Taste of Sichuan Pepper

Xia Rushu (played by Sammi Cheng) suddenly learned of the death of his father (played by Zhong Zhentao) one day, and discovered that he had half-sisters Ruzhi (played by Lai Yayan) and Ruo (played by Li Xiaofeng) in Taipei and Chongqing. Three sisters from three different regions and with very different personalities met for the first time at their father's funeral. They were strangers but bound by blood ties. They were also faced with the trauma of their parents' divorce and the confusion of life. Rushu resolutely decided to continue running the hot pot restaurant left by his father, and gained an opportunity to get to know his father again. The three sisters grew up in broken family relationships due to the entanglement of love and hate from the previous generation. As a result, they met and got to know each other, relied on each other, regained the courage to repair the relationship, and the wounds of their growth were healed.
