The True Story of Heroes

Because of an accident, Long Wu (played by Ti Lung) embarked on a journey to escape. Years later, the limelight has passed. Long Wu returned to Hong Kong again and found that his friend A Huang (played by Huang Baiming) has now become a priest. Amei (Brigitte Lin) used to be Long Wu's girlfriend and is now married. However, her husband is none other than a gangster. Long Wu persuaded Amei to abandon the dark side and leave her husband. But Amei could not escape the clutches of the devil, and was eventually tortured to death by her husband. In anger and despair, Long Wu went on a killing spree and took the cruelest revenge on his enemy. Although his motives were just, Long Wu's every move still violated the law. In the end, he was captured by the police and sentenced to death. Before his execution, Long Wu made a bold decision that made him a true hero.
