Wild Stories

"Wild Stories" is a black comedy composed of six independent short stories of violent revenge. The film is a subversive creation about the out-of-control behavior of human beings. From its weird sense of humor, unique images and bold soundtrack, to its preference for the theme of ordinary people in desperate situations, we can clearly see the similarities between the creations of the South American ghost director Damian Szevoron and Almodovar. Still, Szyfron made his own unique voice with the film: a scathing attack on a society plagued by corruption and severe economic and social inequality.
