Lucky Man

Ye Guhong (played by Miriam Yeung) has a cheerful and optimistic nature. Even though she has experienced many unfortunate events over the years, she laughs them off and often studies various fortune-traveling techniques. The city's famous political expert Lai Libu (played by Tony Leung) has been taught by his ancestors since he was a child not to associate with people named Ye. In order to get his advice, Ye Guhong tried his best to get close to Lai Bu, and the fate between the two began. Lai Bu calculates that there is always someone disrupting Gu Hong's life, and that person is Lai Lai Bu's arch-enemy Duan Xie (played by Cheng Zhongji). It was her father's second wife who wanted Ye Guhong to die. Lai Libu put aside his ancestral precepts and decided to join hands with Gu Hong to deal with Duan Xie.
