Nude Animals

Five friends grew up in a remote place in Germany. As they were about to complete their studies, they were faced with a major life choice - whether to stay or leave the small town to find a wider world. They dig deep and understand each other, but they are at a distance; they love each other, but they also have disputes. Although the film is about common youth and growth issues, this directorial debut uses a retro frame ratio and a unique perspective, supplemented by unconventional character creation. It uses fragments of violence, love and loneliness to create a kaleidoscope, giving a glimpse of the intimacy and pain that go hand in hand.
