Broken English

35-year-old Nora (Parker Posey) is a successful professional woman in Manhattan-she is a customer service supervisor at a high-end hotel. Although she is smart and capable and can see through the needs of her guests at a glance, she has never been able to find her own love destination. She is a mess in handling relationships. Nora once had a relationship with the hotel guest-star Nick, but when she was full of longing, she discovered that the other person was just experiencing life with her for the sake of performance. After each "first date" failed, the frustrated Nora met Julien (Melvil Poupaud), a Frenchman who spoke broken English. The relationship between the two heats up quickly, but Julian will soon return to France, and he invites Nora to "elope" with him.
