Dirty Dancing

Frances (Jennifer Gray) and her family went to the Kellerman Mountains for a vacation. Seventeen-year-old Frances has no interest in boys, dancing, or family games. By chance, she came to a hotel where men and women were dancing together very intimately. Frances immediately found the dance distasteful. Dance coach Johnny (Patrick Swayze) came to her. He relieved Frances of her worries and taught her the basic steps of dance. While studying, Frances also found herself falling in love with Johnny. Johnny was afraid to pursue a relationship with Frances for fear of being fired. At this time, Johnny's dance partner was pregnant with college student Robbie's child. Frances asked her father, a doctor, to help check it out. However, Frances' father mistakenly thought that the child was Johnny's, and then prevented his daughter from dating Johnny, so the two of them had to meet secretly. Because he was framed, Johnny lost his job.
