Dangerous

The story takes place in Connecticut, USA, in 1844. Miranda (Gene Tierney), who was born in a poor family, received a gift from her cousin Nicholas (Vincent Price). Nicholas invites Miranda to his home to serve as a tutor to his daughter Catherine (Connie Marshall). In Miranda's mind, the Nicholas family was the epitome of upper-class life, so she happily accepted the job and set off. Unexpectedly, not long after arriving at the mansion, Miranda heard horrific legends about the place. Not only that, but not long after, Nicholas's wife Joanna (played by Vivienne Osborne) died mysteriously. On the night of Joanna's death, Nicholas expressed his love for Miranda, which scared Miranda away. At this time, she didn't know that she had already been involved in a terrible curse.
