The Love of Long and Short Feet

A Mei (played by Wang Zuxian) is a beautiful girl, but she was born with a foot disability. Her father (played by Huang Zhan) was deceived by his cousin into buying a dilapidated supermarket, and he spent his life savings and became crazy. A Mei has to take care of her father and help run the supermarket. The burden of life falls on her. In a traffic accident, the driver Liang Shaozu (played by Chow Yun-fat) felt guilty that he had knocked May into a disability, so he decided to help May run the supermarket. Ah Mei didn't trust Liang Shaozu at first, but later he teamed up with his friends to help his supermarket tide over the difficulties. He was so moved that the two fell in love.
