A Request in the Rain [Film and TV Commentary]

Once upon a time, the great magician Maskari (Hrithik Roshan) ) has shocked the world time and again with his superb skills and wonderful performances. Unfortunately, a mistake in a performance forced him to face the tragic fate of being paralyzed for life. Under the careful care of nurse Sofia (played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), Mascarene's "paralyzed life" is living pretty well. At the same time, he can only lie in bed and still strives to use his wisdom and language to contribute to the cause of magic. As time went by, Mascare found that his thinking began to become chaotic, and his body's various skills were degraded due to lying still for a long time. This also meant that it would not take long before he would truly become a "vegetative state." Realizing his dire situation, Mascarene makes a shocking request to Sofia: to let her help him end his own life.
