Writer Janet (played by Kerry Fox) has a rough life because of suffering and shines because of words. Since she was a child, she came from a poor family and was sensitive and introverted, and did not know how to communicate with others. Even though she was excellent in studies, she still could not instill any pride in her childhood. Only by immersing herself in the world of literature can Janet's suppressed body and mind be completely released. Fate struck her repeatedly. First, the tragic death of her sister and mother. Later, Janet was misdiagnosed as a mental patient and sent to a mental hospital for eight years of treatment. She used words to remember her lost relatives, and her lonely writing became her spiritual carnival. Finally, after the work was published, she gained the fame that many people dreamed of, and also met a short-lived love. However, after the chaotic fate, Janet returned to a lonely life and returned to her hometown to continue her lonely writing.
