Chicken Star

Based on the novel of the same name by Yuichiro Tanaka, the film follows Souta (Arata Iura) and his cohabitant Rakuto (Rei Narita) who live in a remote suburb as the main line, telling various stories about two people who have no goals and are living a careless life. There is Yata who controls the small town's bad boys to build a new underworld, an unmarried mother and son who endure domestic violence, and hypocritical friends. Souta and Rakuto are involved in their horrible lives, and they face an unknown fate.
