Dawn Comes

The elderly writer Pancho Veloso returns to his hometown to reminisce about the past and find writing inspiration. In the dual-line narrative of the reunion and memories of childhood friends, the fate of a group of people and the picture of an era slowly unfold. The film uses a first-person narrative technique that interweaves past and present, using picturesque images and language to show the Chilean countryside and how a generation grows up amid the impact of tradition and modernity.
