Rhapsody in a Black Shop

A fictional era background, the economy is depressed, everyone is in danger, and even needs human flesh as food to survive. A butcher's family lived in a dilapidated house. They also relied on slaughtering human flesh for food. Under the mysterious and absurd tone, the butcher slaughters human flesh with a bright knife. And this building is also home to all kinds of weird characters: a resident who eats snails, a woman who is obsessed with suicide, a man who loves to cut cans... They have said that if there is no external food supply, then their own meat will not be spared. The clown Louis (Dominique Pinon) comes to work, breaks into this absurd world, and becomes everyone's meal. However, the butcher's daughter (played by Marie-Laure Dougnac) fell in love with him and tried to help him escape the catastrophe. The world began to fall into chaos and collapse.
