Kurokawa

The story revolves around a U.S. Air Force base, which attracts bars and brothels, and the local Japanese, who need the seedy world to escape the real world and make money to barely survive. There is a love triangle in the story, two protagonists live in an apartment building that is being demolished, and the other is a local robber. This film takes a rare look at postwar Japan, the lives of the lower middle class and criminals.
