The Island on Bird Street

During World War II, in a large abandoned factory in a Jewish ghetto surrounded by high walls, the Jews inside lived and worked in fear, and their number was getting smaller and smaller, because the Nazis would come in from time to time and take away some people, first women and children, and then the elderly, and then all of them. Their fate can be imagined. During a crackdown, a father wanted his father and son to escape for their lives, so he prepared to fight the Nazis desperately, but failed because of someone informing him. At this time, the grandfather took action without hesitation in order to save his grandson's life. His little grandson temporarily escaped the disaster and hid. The only thing left by the grandfather was a hat on the street. The little boy firmly believed that his father would come back to find him. He stayed in the abandoned factory with only a white mouse to accompany him. When people reach the limit of survival, they will explode with unimaginable abilities and wisdom. While I was watching the film, I was always worried about that little boy, who had no food or water, and had to avoid the murderous intentions of the Nazis and the remaining Jews who were lucky enough to hide in order to survive. But he survived, and even like Robinson Crusoe, he had his own "tree house". In that high corner, he observed the "peace and tranquility" outside through a small window lattice and a telescope.
