Son of Samson

In Roman rule in Egypt, the corrupt government of a governor appointed Petronius led to a rebellion led by El Kabir, a young man who learned to say that he was actually the son of Cleopatra and Julius Caesar. When Petronius' daughter, Livia, newly arrived from Rome, fell into his hands, Kabir used the opportunity to win her heart before he freed her father. Livia's efforts to promote peace, however, were thwarted, and only the arrival of Octavian Caesar could bring about a solution to the situation.
