Red Boy

In October 1934, the main Red Army went on a long march, and the base area faced a counterattack by the white bandits. The Lijiaao Red Guards also ran to the mountains to fight guerrillas. Su Bao (played by Chen Keran), the son of Chairman Li of the Soviet regime (played by Zhao Zimin), secretly contacted his friends to find the Red Army behind adults' backs. Later, he was retrieved by Eunuch Li (played by Zhang Yan), who criticized them for not finding the army without telling adults. Huang Jingbo (played by Li Mengyao), the leader of the White Army Jingbo Regiment, led his troops back to Lijia'ao and massacred the Red Guard family members who had originally divided up his family's property. In order to avenge their relatives, the children spontaneously formed a juvenile guerrilla group. They cleverly seized guns and waited for opportunities to eliminate the enemies. Once, Chairman Li was unfortunately arrested and imprisoned in the firewood shed of the enemy camp. The children cleverly sneaked into the Jingwei Regiment, knocked down the enemy sentry, and successfully rescued Chairman Li.
