The Spy's Wife

The film tells the story of Kobe, Japan in 1940, on the eve of the outbreak of the Pacific War. Fukuhara Riko was waiting for the return of her husband who was doing business abroad. At this time, her childhood sweetheart Taiji Tsumori, who was already a Japanese military policeman, told Riko that her husband had brought back a woman from abroad, and that woman had died. Under Riko's questioning, she learned that her husband accidentally discovered a "world-shocking" incident there, and was determined to expose it to the world. For the sake of her husband's safety and the happiness of the two of them, Riko naturally wanted to stop her husband's actions.
