Human Killing

This film is based on the background of the story of Takechi Hanheita, who was worshiped as a god by the lower-class samurai in Japanese history, and launched Tenchu. It tells the story of his loyal followers who "kill people and hide them". Takeichi Hanheita (played by Nakadai Tatsuya) established the Tosa Kinou Party in Edo. At the same time, Izo (played by Shintaro Katsu) joined the Koinou Party, and met Tanaka Shinbei (played by Mishima Yukio) the following year. As the two "human killers" of the Koinou Party, they were active behind the scenes of the reform. Okada Izo has a low level of education, speaks vulgarly, is rough and reckless, and loves to drink. He kills people like crazy and obeys Takeichi Hanpei's words. The only exception is that he served as Katsu Kaishu's bodyguard after being introduced by Sakamoto Ryoma (played by Ishihara Yujiro).
