National Interest

This film is called the Swedish version of 007. "A Better World" starring the actor won the 83rd Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Swedish intelligence officer Carl Hamilton (played by Mikael Persbrandt) broke into an international criminal gang that stole Sweden's advanced GPS-guided missiles. This group of desperate mercenaries kidnapped a Swedish weapons technology expert and received orders from an unidentified client organization to prepare for a fatal attack. Although Hamilton exposed his identity and escaped the gang's pursuit, the missiles and experts had lost their traces. Soon, one of the stolen weapons turned up in a terrorist attack in Somalia, where a peace politician was killed. With the Swedish Prime Minister's commitment, the government agreed to hire a private security company to complete the rescue mission, and Hamilton accompanied him as a Swedish government observer. Obviously, this is an extremely dangerous task. Hamilton has to track all the way from the barren desert of Somalia to the street fighting in Oman, as well as the jungle waterboat battles in the Stockholm Islands.
