Dark Night in Mongkok

A story within 24 hours. In order to find his missing girlfriend, Laifu (played by Daniel Wu) immigrated to Hong Kong from the mainland, found a job in Mong Kok, went astray and became a killer, and got involved in the bloody underworld. The person who guides him is the treacherous Lao Liu, who works in both black and white circles and is a police informant, so Laifu embarks on a desperate journey. During this period, he met Dan (Cecilia Cheung), a prostitute. Their similar life experience made the two feel like old friends. Dan was determined to help Laifu find his girlfriend and at the same time change himself. The police have failed to arrest Lai Fu many times. Seeing that the grievances in the world are gradually subsided, they are planning to let it go. Lai Fu and Dan seem to be able to breathe a sigh of relief. However, things take an unexpected turn. Mong Kok is always full of undercurrents at night.
