On their wedding anniversary, CIA agent Evelyn Sauter (Angelina Jolie) ) was ordered to interrogate a Russian spy who surrendered. The other party claimed to have sneaked into the United States since the 1980s, and revealed that a master spy had trained several children, trained them as spies and sent them into ordinary American families to assassinate the President of the United States.
