Taxi Judge

In Hong Kong in the early 1990s, it was common for taxi drivers to refuse to take passengers and charge exorbitant prices. Insurance company broker A Jian (Anthony Wong) has outstanding business abilities. His colleagues who admire him all do not know that his motivation for doing things is his beautiful wife and his unborn child. A Cong (Yu Rongguang), a policeman who handles cases vigorously and resolutely, is A Jian's old friend. The two often drink together and talk about happy and troubled things in their free time. One rainy night, Ah Jian's beloved wife was about to give birth. Ah Jian hurriedly called for a taxi, but the driver actually transferred the customer with a higher bid while he was helping his wife downstairs. Then another taxi driver saw that he had agreed to take passengers at a high price, but cold-bloodedly ordered them to get out of the car when he saw that his wife's lower body was covered with blood. Later, his wife was dragged to death by a speeding taxi because her skirt was caught in the door. The grief-stricken A Jian wanted to cheer up with the encouragement of A Cong, but he couldn't. His career and life became a mess. Reminiscent of several previous incidents of bullying by taxi drivers, he decided to become a taxi judge.
