Career criminal Gilbert Galvin Jr. (Duhamel) escapes from a U.S. prison and crosses the border into Canada, where he takes on a new identity as Robert Whiteman. After falling in love and getting married, he claimed to have accepted a job as a travel security consultant, but his daring criminal behavior continued. His career becomes more complicated when he seeks investment from lifelong gangster Tommy (Gibson), who becomes embroiled in the largest robbery in Canadian history, placing him at the center of a cross-country manhunt.
