The Goodbye Girl

Paula (played by Marsha Mason) has been living together with her daughter Lucy (played by Quinn Cummings) and her boyfriend. One day, Paula was shocked to find that her boyfriend not only left without saying goodbye, but also rented Paula's last refuge, their house, to another strange man, Elliot (played by Richard Dreyfuss). Fortunately, Elliot is a kind man. He not only agreed with Paula and her daughter to continue living here, but also took great care of them in their lives.
