Charlotte (Sandra Dee) was born in a very liberal family, her mother Germaine (Micheline Presler) Charlotte is a charming French woman who inherited her mother's passion. By chance, Charlotte met a photographer named Eugene (Bobby Darin). The talented Eugene quickly attracted Charlotte's attention and made her fall in love. However, what troubled Charlotte was that Eugene was a non-marriageist. Charlotte asked her mother for help, and with Germaine's advice, the two finally successfully entered the marriage hall together. But the happy life did not last long. Charlotte's old classmate Tina (Stephanie Powers) became Eugene's new model. Seeing her husband becoming more and more indifferent to her, Charlotte became anxious.
