Journey of Youth live-action version

High school girl Yoshioka Futaba (Honda Tsubasa ) deliberately makes herself appear slovenly in order to avoid becoming the target of attacks by other girls. She has to deal with this carefully and think hard every day. One day, she accidentally reunited with Tanaka Yu (played by Higashiide Masada), a boy she had met in junior high school. Tanaka had moved to Nagasaki. After this reunion, not only did Tanaka change his surname to Mabuchi, but his personality also seemed to have undergone a huge change. Taking the class event as an opportunity, Futaba, Mabuchi, and Mabuchi's good friend Aya Kominato (played by Ryo Yoshizawa), the maverick and aloof girl Murao Shuko (played by Shinkawa Yuai), and Yuri Makita (played by Fujimoto Izumi) who was isolated for being too cute came together. Originally, their emotions were intertwined with each other, but the handsome and talented Touma Kikuchi (played by Yudai Chiba), teacher Yoichi Tanaka (played by Yu Koyanagi), and Ma's old friend in Nagasaki, Yui Narumi (played by Mitsuki Takahata) in the next class made the relationship between boys and girls more complicated, thus adding countless troubles... This film is adapted from the original work of the same name by the cartoonist Io Sakisaka.
