The Heartbroken Flower

Mrs. Paladin (Alida Valli) was accused of killing her husband. She hired a well-known lawyer named Anthony (Gregory Peck) to defend herself. As the relationship deepens, Anthony finds that he has gradually fallen in love with the beautiful Lady Palatine. However, Anthony has married the simple and kind-hearted wife Guy (Ann Todd). Whenever he thinks of his wife's face, Anthony feels particularly guilty in his heart. However, his fascination with Mrs. Palatine overcame Anthony's guilt. By chance, Anthony discovered that Mrs. Palatine's servant Andrew (Louis Jourdan) was the most suspicious. Although there was no conclusive evidence that Andrew was the murderer, blaming Andrew was indeed the best way to exonerate Mrs. Palatine.
