The Night the Devil Comes

During World War II, a serial killer loomed over Hamburg, Germany like a ghost. Although he committed numerous crimes, the police were helpless against him for two years. A police detective was determined to re-investigate this difficult case. The SS initially supported his work, but soon suppressed the case again. Later, he tried to prevent an obviously unfair trial, refused to carry out orders and was punished by his superiors and was sent to the front line.
