三毛（贾林 Jia Lin 饰）从来就是银幕上喜剧人物。这次，三毛从军了。抗日战争全面爆发了，无所事事的三毛一心想着为国立功，加入了军队。不料，新兵训练的时候就笑话百出。手榴弹实弹投掷训练时，三毛一不小心就将手榴弹投到了战壕里，搞得全军上下一片乌黑。稀里糊涂的三毛随后参加了一支敢死队，笑话百出的他和队友们竟一股全歼了敌军。
