故事发生在灯红酒绿车水马龙的繁华上海滩，王先生（林栋甫 饰）从小就生活在这里，从头到脚，从里到外，都是一个地地道道的上海男人。妻子王太太（王文丽 饰）整日浸淫在麻坛里，自然无暇顾及丈夫，女儿阿囡（卢焱 饰）更是谈起了恋爱，心中只有男友没有老爸。 形单影只的王先生分外寂寞 ，只能找到被贬职的小陈（宗晓军 饰），两人互相作伴，一起消磨时间。就在此时，一位名叫伊雯（张瑜 饰）的舞女出现在了王先生的生命里，机缘巧合之下，王先生竟然成为了将伊雯救出水深火热之中的救命恩人，两人之间牵扯出了一段情缘，不过这一切，可不能让王太太知道。
