二十世纪三十年代战前的梧州市，连绵不断的骑楼古朴典雅，街道灯火阑珊，商贩货摊云集，一派繁荣景象。 故事的主人公阿秀（潘辰 饰）生活在这样一个古朴的城市里的望江楼。望江楼屡遭觑视，命运的误打误撞让她结识了来自广州的建筑设计师梁文亭（郑凯 饰），两人坠入爱河。梁文亭与望江楼的命运交织在一起，救下众人觑视的望江楼，并买下送给阿秀。然而因为战乱使二人失去了音讯。为了一句承诺，阿秀在望江楼苦苦等待。轰炸、战乱、追求者试图动摇阿秀，然而战火过后，再重逢时，阿秀等来的却是梁文亭和他妻子。如何面对10年来最爱的人，如何平复10年的守候，阿秀如何抉择，最终结局又将如何。 该片获得第23届保加利亚瓦尔纳国际电影节最佳影片奖。
