Jade Mask

The story takes place in a world full of darkness and cruelty. The protagonist Johnny (Mickey Rourke) was born with a facial deformity and has been burdened with the fate of not being accepted since he was a child. His mother was a drug-addicted prostitute. Her painful and unhealthy life led to her early death, leaving Johnny to face the cruelty of the world alone. After his mother's death, Johnny was cared for by McGee. In addition to providing him with shelter and care, McGee also taught him survival skills and criminal abilities. Gradually, Johnny became a robber and carried out various robberies with McGee. Once, during a robbery of an antique store, they were betrayed. Mikey was shot and killed, while Johnny was arrested by the police and imprisoned in prison. Johnny fell into despair and anger, feeling endless loneliness. At his most vulnerable moment, a mysterious plastic surgeon breaks into his life. The doctor offered to give Johnny plastic surgery as bait by changing his appearance. Although concerned about the doctor's true motives, Johnny jumps at the chance for revenge. After the successful operation, he had a completely different face, a new identity, and the capital for revenge.
