The Gruffalo

In the quiet and vast forest, the mother squirrel goes around looking for nuts for her children. But natural enemies were on the prowl, so she and her children had to stay in their nest. Unable to bear the pleading of the two little guys, the mother squirrel told a story about the Gruffalo: A long time ago, there was a kind and smart little brown rat (voiced by James Corden). He walked in the forest, and was attacked by foxes, owls and poisonous snakes one after another. Out of desperation, the little brown mouse claims to meet his friend the Gruffalo. The Gruffalo is huge and scary-looking, and especially likes to eat foxes, owls and venomous snakes. His big words scared off natural enemies, but the fun was yet to come... The film is adapted from the original work of the same name by British writer Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler, and will be broadcast on the BBC TV channel at Christmas.
