Moonlight

Chiron (Ashton Sanders) Chiron's mother Paula (played by Naomie Harris) is addicted to drugs and has no intention of taking care of her children. Chiron grew up in loneliness and was often bullied and teased by the people around him because of his small stature. By chance, Chiron met the drug dealer Juan (played by Maher Shala Ali). From then on, the residence of Juan and his girlfriend Teresa (played by Janelle Monae) became Chiron's second home. Kevin (Jharrel Jerome) is Chiron's only friend. As time goes by, the relationship between the two gradually goes beyond friendship. However, in order to hide his sexual orientation, Kevin had to fight Chiron at the instigation of his companions. After that, the two never saw each other again. Years passed in a blink of an eye, and Chiron suddenly received a call from Kevin. The two finally decided to face the true feelings in their hearts.
