Li Kenong

Li Kenong is one of the important leaders of our party's hidden front, and has long presided over and led our party's intelligence and security work. On the eve of the Xi'an Incident, Li Kenong single-handedly negotiated with Zhang Xueliang's Northeastern Army on behalf of our party and made the first contribution to promoting the second Kuomintang-Communist cooperation. Chairman Mao immediately praised it as "a good job"; at the critical moment of resisting U.S. aggression and aiding Korea, Chairman Mao once again personally ordered generals and sent Li Kenong to preside over the negotiations, thereby performing a good show of "Fu Sam in Panmunjeom". The TV series "Li Kenong" was jointly produced by the China TV Drama Production Center of CCTV and the Guoan Film and Television Center of the Ministry of State Security. It uses Comrade Li Kenong's life's combat experience and legendary stories as the main line, praising the great achievements of him and thousands of covert front staff.
