The Girl in the Shell: Burning

Rune Barrot (voiced by Emi Hayashihara), a girl who suffered a cruel fate, was engaged in a fierce battle with her powerful enemy Boyd (voiced by Tsutomu Isobe). At the critical moment, the criminal investigator Dr. Ufkok (voiced by Sapien Yashima), known as the universal weapon, appeared and saved Barrot who was on the verge of death. When Barlot woke up again, she found herself in the "Paradise" laboratory, the legendary birthplace of forbidden science. Once again, she saw many strange inventions and learned about the past of "Paradise" and the three doctors. After some investigation, she finally learned that the memory of Sher (voiced by Kazuya Nakai) was hidden in a chip at Casino Casino. In order to trace Sher's past, Barlot disguised himself as a gambler and walked into the dangerous casino... This film is adapted from Oki Fontaine's science fiction novel and is the second part of the "Girl in the Shell" trilogy (the other two parts are "Compression" and "Exhaust").
