John Boone, who was sentenced to six years in prison for killing a little girl while driving drunk, was released from prison. From the moment he steps out of the prison door, the vengeful eyes of the little girl's father, Freddy, are upon him. The tragic scene six years ago cannot be erased from Freddie's memory. He runs a jewelry store, but spends most of his time drinking in the office. At night, he goes to pornographic venues and hangs out with some women whose names he doesn't even know when he's drunk. In this vicious cycle, he lost his wife, young child, house and even the courage to live... Now he just wants to take matters into his own hands and kill the perpetrator to vent his anger. And John Boone did not feel any less guilty because he had served six years in prison. What he wanted to do was not start a new life after being released from prison, but to think about the value of his life. In a sense, he and Freddy are two sides of the same coin.
