The Winter Brothers

Filmed in the cold winter, the film tells the story of two brothers, their routines, habits, rituals, and the violent conflict that breaks out between them and another family. This is a story about lack of love, so the film focuses on the younger brother Emil and his desire to be loved and wanted. Winter Brothers is an intense and expressive visual and aural experience. The film is Lynel Palmer's debut as director and screenwriter. The film won the Grand Jury Prize at the Angers Prime Minister's Project in 2018 and the Best Cinematography Award at the 2017 Serbian Film Festival.
