Family Game

The Numata family is a family of four. Father Xiaosuke (played by Itami Juzo) and mother Chigako (played by Yuki Yuki) have given ardent hopes to their two sons who are studying. The eldest son Shinichi (played by Tsujida Junichi) studied hard and successfully entered the top-notch Seibu High School. After that, the family pinned all their hopes on their second son, Shigeyuki (played by Ichirota Miyagawa), who is in the third grade of junior high school. However, Maozhi's grades were not good and he hired several tutors but with little success. When he was anxious, Masaru Yoshimoto (played by Matsuda Yusaku), a student from a third-rate university, came to apply for the job. With the arrival of this somewhat weird tutor, Shigeyuki's grades began to improve... Based on the novel of the same name by Honma Yohei.
