Parallel Mother

When Janes (Penelope Cruz) reached middle age, she unexpectedly learned that she was pregnant. Although the child came somewhat suddenly and was outside of Janes' life plan, she still happily accepted the arrival of this immature new life. Similar to Janis' situation, there is a woman named Anna (Milena Smit), but unlike Janis, Anna cannot accept this change of life calmly. In addition to physical deterioration, this child also brings anxiety and fear. It was such two very different women who were admitted to the same ward under God's guidance. They were often seen talking together in the long hospital corridor. Two women, two mothers, and two destinies are entangled in this time and space.
