Spring Breeze and Autumn Rain

Laura (Lana Turner) and Suzy (Sandra Dee) are a mother and daughter who depend on each other. At work, Laura is a strong woman who always devotes most of her time to her busy duties. Naturally, she pays less attention to her daughter in life. As time goes by, the gap between mother and daughter becomes deeper and deeper. This emotional rift eventually led to tragedy after they both fell in love with the same man. Annie (Juanita Moore) is a black woman, and her daughter Sarah (Susan Kohner) is of mixed race. Sarah has always been ashamed of her mother's skin color, which constantly hurts Annie's feelings. However, maternal instinct drove Anne to forgive Sarah again and again, and she still loved her as before.
