Love in a House of Love

Although Cary Scott (Jane Wyman) is a middle-aged widow with two children, she still has no shortage of suitors around her. One day she met the new gardener in her garden, the young Ron Kirby (Rock Hudson), the son of the late old gardener. After several contacts, Cary learned about Ron's love for planting, so Ron took Cary to his home. The age gap does not prevent the two from falling in love, but their love has to face many tests. Cary's son and daughter were the first to object. Her son even threatened his mother to give up the relationship by running away from home. When the whole town was filled with rumors about the two of them, Cary also felt tremendous pressure. She tried to take Ron to a club party, but encountered some unpleasant things. Cary still chose to separate from Ron, but the two still loved each other...
