In 1964, three young Israeli agents reported the eradication of the concentration camp executioner nicknamed "Doctor Birkenau" and received a hero's welcome when they returned home. Forty years later, team member Xue Fu suddenly visited Li Chu, a female comrade who had become a famous writer at the time, and told her that the "doctor" was still alive and living in a nursing home in Ukraine. Xue Fu asked Li Chu to complete this "task". Li Chu recalled those green years in Berlin, when the three were ordered to capture Nazi war criminals alive and bring them to Israel for trial. But the mission did not go as smoothly as they reported to the outside world. The three of them decided to hide the secret forever, but the debts they incurred back then still have to be repaid today.
