Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

The film describes a southern landowner who was born in poverty and died of a serious illness. His two sons, Blake and Cooper, with opposite personalities, took their wives to attend his sixty-fifth birthday party. Cooper is a lawyer and manages a large amount of property; his brother Blake commits suicide because of his misunderstanding of his old friend. He blames his wife for having an affair with her best friend and refuses to have sex with him. He becomes the laughing stock of his sister-in-law and cannot take over the property. In fact, Blake did not want to inherit the property because he felt that everything in the world was hypocritical. However, after the encouragement of his good wife Maggie and the enlightenment of his uncle, he began to understand the meaning of life, and the whole family finally got what they deserve.
