Love at sunset

The film tells the story of a series of interesting life events that happened after Uchida, a teacher full of interest in life, resolutely resigned from teaching at the university and devoted himself to writing at home. Uchida is so beloved by the students that they hold a birthday party for their teacher every year. Every year at birthday parties, students ask their teachers, "Are you ready?" and Uchida's answer is always "not yet." Uchida's open-mindedness about life and death also deeply affects his students, always reminding them to have a healthy and positive attitude. The professor's cat kept crying after he lost it. The students rushed to visit him and looked for the cat everywhere for him. They also distributed flyers in schools and other places and posted notices in newspapers, hoping to help the teacher find the cat and regain his smile. The strong teacher-student relationship runs throughout the film. At the end of the film, Uchida fell asleep after a birthday party, and students outside were drinking and chatting. The dream he had in his late years was a scene of hide-and-seek in a pile of straw when he was a child. A lot of children kept shouting whether they had hidden, and he kept replying "Not yet."
