Far From Heaven

In the autumn of 1957, Cathy (Julianne Moore) and her husband Frank (Dennis Quaid) lived in a small town in Connecticut, USA. Their life was comfortable and peaceful, with two children under ten years old. The family attracted the envy of many. What Cathy unexpectedly found was that her husband had had a relationship with a man, and she felt that her world was about to fall. She talked with Raymond (Dennis Haysbert), a well-educated black gardener, and Raymond's comfort made Cathy feel inspired. But soon because of racial issues, everyone began to treat Cathy with strange eyes. Kathy and her husband are afraid of gossip, so they have been reluctantly maintaining their relationship, but they each have their own lovers in their hearts...
