The film is adapted from the best-selling book "Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI" written by David Grann, focusing on the "Osage Indian Murders" in Oklahoma in the 1920s. At that time, the Osage people continued to receive huge incomes due to the discovery of oil deposits in their original habitat. In order to prevent the above arrangement, someone planned a series of murders. 60 people were killed in four years, which shocked the country. For this reason, the U.S. government established the "Bureau of Investigation" (the predecessor of the FBI) ​​to conduct an interagency investigation and revealed that the "Osage Guardian Program" to protect the rights of the Osage people was extremely corrupt.
